Philosophy:

Faith and Patience philosophy is to provide an environment that encourages children to achieve their full potential at their own pace. As teachers and care givers of your child, we are here to provide them with the best possible care and give them the best learning experiences. The daycare helps the child to develop self-esteem, self-discipline and independence while learning to respect others.

Director's Profile:

* 16 years experience in childcare field with two children of my own
* Business License for NC
* Previous licensed childcare of VA
* Certificate of Incorporation of Daughters of Zion Outreach in VA May 2002
* Primary Teacher at Flames of Fire Ministries in the Primary Classroom August 2002
* 1st Aid & CPR Certified
* 28 credit hours in Early childhood
* ITS-SIDS Certificate

Staff:

We believe in hiring capable, qualified and motivated employees that exhibit a caring nature, a love for working with children, and who takes pride in being a teacher/caregiver. All staff is annually screened for a TB Test, background checks, drug test, and are trained in First Aid and CPR. They must pose these qualities: . Capable of carrying out classroom curriculum . Good Character and reputation . Dependability and accountability . Effective oral and written communication

Food Program:

We provide USDA nutritionally balanced meals, snacks, and cooking activities. Meals are posted on the Parent’s Board Weekly. The lunch meals will consist of one meat, two vegetables, bread, and fruit served with 100% juice and/or milk.
